Strawberry Cupcakes!
I made strawberry cupcakes! So yummy. Scarlette says they are her favorite. I am hoping that these lovely cupcakes bring some smiles tomorrow. I am waiting for the frosting to set. If you whip up the frosting and let it sit in the fridge over night, then early the next morning, re-whip it, fill your piping bag and perfect piping frosting. Until then, here is a sneak peek of the cupcakes. You can find the recipe on the "Strawberry" button. I made a strawberry puree-buttercream filling and a vanilla-cream cheese whip frosting. OMG, these are going to taste amazing!
Yes, that is rice in the bottom of the cupcake pan. The rice prevents the bottoms from over cooking and drying out or burning. Its an awesome trick!
