Shortbread COokies 

 

Let me remind you.  This is the recipe I followed and I failed.  I am hoping you have much better luck.  let me know if they turn out differently for you!

Ingedients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (now I did use a gluten free flour)
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp coconut flavoring (you can use flavor of your choice)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Place softened butter in a bowl, whip with a hand mixer for a minute

  3. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time, whipping after each addition until well incorporated

  4. Add the icing sugar and whip again for about 5 minutes

  5. placing in piping bag and use desired tip to create the look of the cookie

  6. Bake in oven for 11-12 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned

*The cookies will slightly spread when they are baking.  I also do not take any credit for this recipe.*
